Sustainable Circular Economies Program
This initiative is focused on promoting, introducing and applying the concept of the “Sustainable Circular Economy (SCE)” across multiple sectors of the economy in the nations in the Americas. This will serve as a major step to achieving sustainable development and to help mitigate climate change through sustainable and eco-effective production.
ASDF is the founding entity of several key initiatives on the topic of the Sustainable Circular Economy in the American continent. In 2016, ASDF founded under this Circular Economies Program, the Circular Economy Platform of the Americas (PEC-Americas) and in 2017 it launched the first edition of the Circular Economy Forum of the Americas (CEFA) in Medellin, Colombia.
